I know this is supposed to be a place of encouragement, but I do have very sad news.  My precious husband, Gary Gilmore, passed onto Glory on  December 9th, 2020.  Yes, this amazing man, who loved God and His Word and sharing that with others has gone on.  

It was our first day back in South Africa after being gone for 8 months. He was so excited to get back on the field, but that night very peacefully, he left this earth.

I miss him so much, but God sustains me and gives me His peace.  I am now permanently located in the U.S., but still working with Africa Missions via the internet, doing their graphic design and communications work.

 When people would ask Gary how he was, he would  declare triumphantly, “I’m on my way to Glory!” And now he has arrived in Glory!

Psalm 26:8 tells us,  “Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house,  And the place where Your glory dwells.”

Let’s pursue God’s Glory even more here on our earthly journey!  Let’s push ourselves even more into God’s presence.  That is what Gary would want us to do.

P.S.  I’m sorry if Gary’s picture is doubled, I’ve worked and worked for that not to happen, but if I take one off, then they both go.  But I do love seeing his picture!

This is my first blog on our newly designed website by my wife, Judy. She has spent many hours on this project. And now she has designed a new blog format for me to make comments to viewers by myself at any time.

I want this space to include encouragement, teachings, fun comments, etc. It will have pictures, as well. But here is the big deal: this blog has soooo many options!! It will take days for me to figure out all of them, so that means this space will be changing in view as we go. It is plain right now, but it will improve.

If you use WordPress and have found some really cool tools to make the blog more reader-friendly, please let me know.
